Original dark-blue boards, marbled inside, with original ivory pigskin spine, a little dust marked to white areas but front and rear boards in bright original colours. Regimental device and titles in bright gilding to front board, plain back and spine. Slightly bumped on corners of front board, but an outstanding copy unlikely to be found in this condition elsewhere. Numbered 18 of only 100 copies privately printed and circulated.
