The book ends with a short (6 page) reference to a visit to Africa and an unspecified Commando raid on France in the summer of 1942, a little sunned to upper and lower edges of boards, light foxing to edges, coloured pastedowns bleached, pencil inscr. front free endpaper, dustwrapper: rubbed with loss at spine ends and cnrs., sl. flaking to folds, red offsetting front panel, faint foxing to reverse, repaired to reverse, very good in a good dustwrapper,
