Published to mark the centenary of Joseph Conrad's classic novel, "Heart of Darkness". A collection of lovely atmospheric photographic images of the Congo by Marcus Bleasdale. Each photograph is accompanied by a quote from Conrad, detailing life in the former Belgian colony. This book is based on Bleasdale's travels in The Congo between 2000 and 2002.
