Description: Welsh Outlook Press, 1927. First Edition, Disbound. Good Condition. 28 pages. Published from 1914 to 1933, The Welsh Outlook was intended to promote a view of Cultural Nationalism and social progress within Wales, as reflected in the topics in each monthly part. The magazine is considered to have been important in the development of Welsh Nationalism, and Wales as a Nation separate from the rest of Britain, most especially so from England through the Welsh language. The print runs were tiny, even by the standards of the day, perhaps only 2000 an issue in the early days, rather less later, and are consequently tricky to find. Note; this is an original monthly part separated from the annual volume, and does not have the original wrappers. Contains; A Constructive Policy for Wales by T.P. Ellis; Sounds and Sweet Airs by Lynn Doyle; The Background to Welsh Political Thought in The 19th Century by T. Evans; Industrial Disputes and Compulsory Arbitration by D.
