The Trial of Joanna Southcott
Plymouth, Jas. h Keys. 1916, First Edition. Original Wraps, 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. Joanna Southcott claimed prophetic poers, and this is an account of her trial in 1804. It appears to be relevant to 1916, in that she prophesied the Zeppelins which appeared over London in 1915. The publishers have a number of other tracts by Southcott and other books of use to this sect. Brown paper wraps, worn at edges, but a good copy of a curious book. Very Good/No Jacket.
