Mill Hill Pulpit Volumes I and II.
Hard Cover. Undate dated, unattributed and unpaginated, this substantial volume appears to have been out together informally and may be a one off for the orinal ower. It is properly bound with red cloth covered boards and gilt titles to spine. It appears to be largely sermons for the Unitarian Mill Hill Chapel in Leeds, just one is dated and attributed: Prayer Answered in the Making, 1892 by Charles Hargrove minister of Mill Hill. The sermons have been properly printed and are bound together with leaves of black paper. The index appears at the front and is hand written in blue ink. The book is approximately 250-350 pages long. Light hint of rubbing to corners. Cloth sunned to spine and rather darkened with dust marks. An unusual piece of Victorian and Uniarian social history for Leeds in the West Riding of Yorkshire. Very good- copy.
