With 24 chromolithographs by F.W.Frowhawk, and a frontispiece by P.P.Sushkin. Subtitled: "" A monograph of Palaearctic geese"". The work contains an account of the eggs of Russian geese by Gobel. Appendix 11 is an extract from the diary of a visit to Kolguev in 1902 by Buturlin. A very nice copy of this scarce work.
