The spine and panel edges are slightly bumped and tanned as with age. Bumped corners are also evident. There is some light tanning/shelf-toning on the spine cover. The binding is still tight and strong. All edges gilt. Internally. the pages are reasonably bright and clean throughout. with some tanning evident in the page margins. Remains quite well-preserved overall. ; 551 pages; A wonderful collection and an excellent memoir. Complete with a tissue-guarded portrait frontispiece. Subjects: Browning.
